The new NEWT is on the website now. They will start shipping in January.

The new Newt adds the deep front pocket made from SuperMesh. The cord sleeve is the 210d Dyneema X just like the whole pack and the bungee in the sleeve is user replaceable. The pack also has the lighter easy to use cordlock buckles roll top closure system. Not shown in these pics - the MLD bungee cord management system with clips are also included- they attach to the white/black spectra cord loops at the sides and bottom of the mesh pocket. The webbing waistbelt is removable. About 7.5-9.5 oz depending on how you set it up.


Like all MLD packs, the shoulder straps aee camted (attatched at an ergo angle to the pack back) to fit the natural curve of the shoulders.
