I'm planning to walk the John Muir Trail in July and considering buying a Bearikade (Weekender probably) instead of renting one.

I wonder if somebody would like to buy my secondhand Bearikade afterwards for $ 150.
If we have a deal, it has to be picked up in Berkeley on August 1st.

Under condition of course that the Bearikade is still perfectly allright, obviously used, but without great damage.

My first time on this BPL forum and not very sure about the customs here.

What do you suggest about our deal?
Are you allright with the price and the pick up in Brtkeley on August 1st. And if so what kind of guarantee for both of us do you suggest?

I suppose that in Spring there will ben more thru-hikers interested in the Bearikade, so as long I can't be sure about a deal the offer is available for anyone.

Just a friendly recomendation of Ken's integrity. He is also confounder of the world famous Bay area bpl campout! If he will says something he will pull though. He also has some pull in the king range if your are ever up north.(was that too much)?
