Status: 4/1 - Life got in the way for mid week runs. Went back up to AT Approach Trail and did the "Meatgrinder" for the third time this year and second time in two weeks. Completed the 32 miles in 8 hours which would have been faster if I didn't mess up on my final water refill. Ended up doing the final 8 miles with only four oz. of water. It impacted my wood and electrolyte intake as well. This was a great lesson for the RRR because it will be even less forgiving and those eight dry, hot miles were anything but fun. The rest of the way was a blast!

Switched to just registering weekly stats because list was getting too unwieldy.
My training week goes Fri-Thur (to put entire long weekends in same week)
Mileage is generally 75% trail, 25% road, with all long runs on trail.

(1000') = 1000 feet of elevation gain during run.
for this log, "long run" means 18 miles or longer.

Nov 11-17 = 53mi (2500') ... includes long run of 50mi road race
Nov 18-24 = 21mi (7000') ... no long run
Nov25-Dec1 = 28mi (5400') ... no long run
Dec 2-8 = 30mi (6200') ... no long run
Dec 9-15 = 24mi (4400') ... includes long run of 21mi
Dec 16-22 = 24mi (5500') ... no long run
Dec 23-29 = 35mi (8300') ... no long run
Dec30-Jan5 = 36mi (5100') ... no long run
Jan 6-12 = 26mi (4400') ... no long run
Jan 13-19 = 47mi (9600') ... includes long run of 24.5mi
Jan 20-26 = 41.5mi (8550') ... no long run
Jan27-Feb2 = 36mi (7,400') ... no long run
Feb 3-9 = 49mi (8,400') ... includes long run of 21mi
Feb 10-16 = 57mi (10,200') ... includes long run of 29mi
Feb 17-23 = 50mi (9,800') ... no long run
Feb24-Mar1 = 43mi (7,300') ... includes long run of 24.5mi
Mar 2-8 = 51mi (8,600') ... includes long run of 23mi
Mar 9-15 = 44mi (9,200') ... includes long run of 21.5mi
Mar 16-22 = 22mi (2,500') ... no long run
Mar 23-29 = 58mi (15,400') ... includes Old Goats 50 mile trail race
Mar 30-Apr 5 = 27mi (9,000') ... low mileage but all miles were serious hill work

I've laid out more or less my week above, also my goal for the month of Dec., which is to just maintain and not get ahead of myself. Currently I'm relishing the non-regimented running schedule and the variety of runs I've been doing. I don't intend to run much more than 40-50 miles per week until Jan.1st.

There isn't anything in the oven for me this month. I may try to seek out a few runs nearby that are heavy on vertical in Dec., but I'm content doing repeats on my local route for now.

My goals for this upcoming week specifically:

- 40ish miles minimum.
- Enjoy my running.

Art- there is, it's a nice old school stair master :) I don't know how to run it, but it can't be too complicated

it gets very little use, but the few times I've seen it in use, looks like a dandy- looks similar to this
