Fabric Adhesive- Sturdy? on 11/22/2011 17:44:49 MST

Is it worth using something like Loctite Fabric Glue on high use, high strain projects like tarps, tents, or hammocks? Does it hold up even close to as well as sewing? I'm apprehensive about using something like this for fear of it failing with use. Is there something better than this?
