do you use grossgrain for pack straps? I know it is used for tarp/tent guyline tyouts....
just curious...
BTW...im learning to really love DIY gear supply....

Generally, no. It will slip in conventional ladderlocs. I think that ITW Nexus developed some that will not slip, but I just stick with nylon webbing.

i was trying to consolidate an order...but i just wanted to make 100% sure before i went and ordered a bunch of it...although ill probably use it somewhere down the line...

No problem. I'd suggest using webbing on straps anyway. It is not worth the minimal weight savings if the grosgrain were to fail.

I believe they make the buckles. The minimum order is very, very high. It is not a distributor.

they have a distributer about 30 min from me...maybe i can go to the warehouse and shop!
