I'm willing to buy a wind shirt. I need a hood. I prefer pertex (b/c of breathability and it's trusted), but I will consider an equally breathable material. Anyone have an ID pertex wind shirt or similar they don't want anymore? Full zip or half zip doesn't matter to me. The order of my preferences:
1) Breathability and hood
2) Fits me
3) Weight

My size: 6'1, 155 pounds; Mediums fit me best. I will consider other sizes based on your personal suggestions.

I do prefer to buy or trade with a member here. Just wondering though, any ebay watchers see anything interesting on the bay? The CAMPs are nice, but fit pretty slim. You'd probably want to size up to an L.

I'm 5'8" 145-150ish and the medium is a good fit, but not much room for many layers underneath.

Thanks for the suggestions above. I do fear that the camp is too small. The RAB is about double my budget, but might be a good deal overall.

I'm still interested in used gear! A little used lovin' is a plus for me! Let me recycle that old pertex jacket off you, hehe. There seems to be lots of nylon jackets on the bay, but too many ???.

EMS was selling RAB Cirrus for under $50 shipped for about 6 hours a few days ago. I am 5'11", 165 lbs and large is a great fit that allows to layer up to a light down puffy under it (I grabbed guacamole green). But even by itself over a T shirt it looks and feels great without appearing as a garbage bag pulled over a stick. When stuffed into included stuff sack it is tiny, and the sack can be clipped via attached loop. I think it is well worth $70 EMS is asking for it at this time. It is my first RAB purchase, and I am impressed! You will not be disappointed with Cirrus.

I bought one too, in the red "Firecracker" color. I agree it's worth it and really about as good a price for a quality wind jacket as you will find (although you can, with patience, find Houdinis on sale too).

I've got a Marmot Trail Winds Hoody (blue) that I bought new last year: used it on 8 or 9 days worth of winter camping trips and its in great shape. Anyway, I'm about your size (actually 6'0", 155), I normally wear a medium but this fits me well with room to layer a light-to-medium puffy underneath. I was planning on posting it on the gear swap for $40 shipped. Let me know if you're interested or have questions, otherwise don't be surprised to see it posted in a day or so.
