Just a friendly reminder, people--the price of the grills will go back to $50 on June 2. Get them while they're still $45 (or $85 for a double with connectors). I won't be around for much of June-August, so if you've been thinking of scoring one of these grills, now would be the best time.

If you are still making them (and not just selling what you have already made), I was wondering if you could/would be interested in making a pint size model that could be used atop a FireFly stove or other wood burners. I'm thinking of something approximately 4.5" by 6" in size, just big enough to put a small steak over wood stove coals.

After I read your post, I went down to the war room to see what I could do for you. The only ti rod I have left in the .062" diameter is 18" pieces (which have 2" of hard-to-remove paint on one end). This limited the dimensions of what I could make. I made one that ended up 4" wide x 5.75" long. If that will work for you, I would be happy to send it to you as a PIF (from one titanium geek to another!). All I need is your address, if you would kindly provide it via PM.

Here is a photo of what I will send you today, Rob. For comparison, I included one of the standard Zia grills, which is 11.25" long and 4.5" wide. The little guy measures 4" x 5.75" and it weighs .40 oz. (12 grams).

If anyone else would like one of these small grills, I can send one to you for $30. These dimensions are the largest I can make with the materials I have on hand, but I can certainly make them shorter or narrower. If you have a specific request, please contact me (drzooz@aol.com).
