Just received a brand new Thermarest NeoAir Large today. The box states that the weight for this 25" x 77" pad is 19oz or 550g. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it weighs 17.43oz or 494g! Is this a common occurrence or did I just get lucky? Have they lightened their pads but not yet changed their info on the box? Just wondering.
I got one of the very first larges. 17.4 oz for mine too. Enjoy some quality sleep. I like mine and have not regretted its' purchase.
My large neoair is 16.9 oz
my regular, medium and short were all a couple tenths under :)
my regular came in .7 oz lighter to my liking. seems to be a standard thing with the Neo's.
I don't personally have one... but the weight given may be with the storage sack and repair kit included. I think I read somewhere that they include those weights. I don't even actually know if the neoair comes with a repair kit and storage sack, so I'm just spit balling here.
This might be the case if T-Rest actually gave us stuffsacks and repair kits but sadly, they're "accessories" in their realm. :-(My standard short weighs within an ounce of spec.Cheers,Rick
Well it looks like I'm the unlucky one then. My 'small' NeoAir is 9.36oz and my two regular ones are 14.3 and 14.4.
Can't beat something being almost 2 oz lighter!!
My NeoAir Trekker torso pad was also about an ounce lighter than stated. The listed weight is 450g and it weighed in at 422g.
My regular comes in at 13.8 oz. The extra stuff sack I bought (for a few $$ on sale) is 0.5 oz and the entire repair kit weighs in at 0.6 oz. However, I just put a rubber band around my Neo. At the given weights though, if my regular ever comes to an end I may go with a large... that's great to know. Thanks for the info!
My NeoAir large, which I got from Bean's because I STILL expect it to go back, weighs 14.9oz, 4222g. Maybe Bean's won't get it back!

I am with Dan, my regular was 14.2 oz as well. I dumped it for an Exped Synmat UL7, however.
My large NeoAir weighs 16.58. Also my large NeoAir All Season weighs 25.52 with out the stuff sack, and with the stuff sack it weighs 27.13.
Interesting thread.My NeoAirs:small: 9.0regular: 13.1large: 18.1
When I owned the regular sized neoair, mine weighed 14.1oz

Some serious quality issues @ Cascade Designs!!
....or some serious scale issues amongst BPL'ers.
It seems like CD is getting the weights a lot closer than POE does... Just saying...
Small: 9.3oz (purchased during the first year they were available)large: 18.3oz (purchased spring 2011)edit: I weighed each pad on two different scales ... they agreed with each other
