Talk about the history of computers/programming.
Did your link fail?
No link. Merely a tested and confirmed method of making lots of space around a campfire instantly.
DOH. I'm too much the nerd to see the joke. I would be enthralled.I'm afraid talking about UL gear might do the same!

Depends who is around, geeky talk has had both that, and the opposite effect in my experience, all depends how geeky your co-campers are :)
Apparently most of them weren't very geeky. There will be some before and after photos buried in the Trinity Alps trip reports.I am no longer permitted to talk about computers while backpacking, take my shirt off within the borders of California nor wear hiking clothes in San Francisco. Rough life.

"Aaaahhh, but some of us might stay till way beyond midnight!"note to self...
easy. begin every sentence with and/or comment on every topic with, "... and that's when baby jesus said..."that, or talk about the middle east. *poof*
Cant take off your shirt in California! LOL
On the up side, that conversation cleared all the good seats around the fire....
I thought it was interesting to see how many Mac guys were there.
I'm done lighting them for you guys.
That's easy. Throw in a handful of bullets.
But Ken, the only way I know how to get one going is how they do it in The Thing.
