Spent a quiet weekend all alone in the Chelan Mountains a couple weeks ago, enjoying the larch, snow, and other signs of this serene and restless season. A fuller account with pictures is here.

Get out there, even if it's a quick trip. It does a soul good.

Nice trip. It is amazing how quiet the trails are after Labor Day. I did enjoy a look through your other photos--- the larches are always amazing. Thanks for sharing.
