This is the alcohol stove kit I use. I can't weigh everything, but I think the kit all together is about 5 or 6 ounces.


Everything fits neat and tidy






The paperclips are used to weigh the wind-screen down so it doesn't just fly away. I could drop these, but I think it makes the whole thing a lot sturdier and adds only minimal weight.


I used two lengths of guitar string (the smallest strings) to make a handle that doesn't get hot and allows me to easily transfer the pot to the cozy.


The string handle folds over onto the side of the pot for storage

Have a look around for pictures of my cone clone script, as I use a slot & tab joint that would replace the wire closures you've used; no weight, and nothing to lose.

There are a few images on BPL threads regarding 'clones'.
