I'm amazed at how stupid that guy was with the cigarette lighting... Talk about going blind.

It looked like a 405 nm laser (blu-ray) those things can be pretty powerful.

I've always wanted to build my own laser pointer... until i discovered laser pointer forums...(think bpl for laser pointer people) thats when i discovered what i really wanted was a 450 nm 1 W laser... And then my budget wasn't quite on par.
