Hi, I did a little hiking this week your part of the country. I don't know if you are aware of it, but it looks like your forests are dying. The leaves on most of your trees are turning gold, red, crimson, orange, and shades of yellow. The leaves are falling off the trees and creating a soft carpet on the ground which is hiding the trails.

Now I don't know what kind of trees these are, as I am used to palm trees, jeffrey pine, sugar pine, lodgepole pine, limber pine, white fir, incense cedar, redwood, pinion pine, coulter pine, ponderosa pine, gray pine, bristlecone pine, and giant sequoia.
