Haha, you beat me to it, Ian,

I would also like to wish everyone within the BPL comunity a merry christmas and a happy new year.

I'll be traveling all over Europe to visit friends, family and future in-laws so i won't be on the fora untill the new year, so please don't post too much these two weeks so i won't have to read too much when i come back.

Hi all! Merry Christmas and a blessed new year from Amherst, NY. Just a stones throw from the mistake-by-the-lake Buffalo, NY. Laurie, any snow yet?

no snow yet and i am so upset about it - and it had better snow soon because i am hosting a gathering of backpackers and canoeists at the Wolf's Den near Ontario's Algonquin Park on Jan 27 and want to go snowshoeing or xcountry skiing or do something fun in the snow
