MYOG Prototype top bag 4 oz primaloft fill. Shell and liner are stiff for nylon, but should soften with washing. Used 1 night. Top zip, 1/2 length. Small draft tube. Cinches around neck with drawcord. Flaps on bottom for pad attachment with unsupplied cord. Sized for 6'1, medium build. 24 oz $40.

I'd love some more info and a picture of the hammock. I'm 6'3" 215lb and new to hammock camping, what should I know about this hammock specifically? I'm not looking for top/under quilt info or anything. Just essentially where this hammock fits into the hammock market

The hammock should work fine since you are only 2 inches taller than me, however you may want stronger line than the ski rope. 1.9 nylon is rated to 250lbs according to Speer Hammocks. This hammock has the normal fabric used for normal sized people. The line is lighter than what most people would use. Nothing fancy, but it is bigger and roomier than what you could buy at REI. I would recommend the book "Hammock Camping" by Ed Speer. The design is similar to what is found in that book.

What are the dimensions of the hammock? Ed Speer's hammock specs are 5' x 8.5' for normal sized people, is that what you used?
