Yep that is right, I love football. Namely my San Francisco 49ers. As mentioned in an other thread I love baseball more...GO Giants! But hey, aside from some fun fall hiking and some snowshoe trips, I love a good sunday of football. Especially when my Niners are 3-1 (and could easlily be 4-0!). I know Rick Horne is a Packers fan.

Anyone else?????

It pains me to say it, but I'm a fan of the 0-4 Rams. Just got home from another loser. They were close this time, but close still doesn't show up in the win column.

The 'Niners are 3-1? Really? How could that possibly happen?

Ken, with the schedule that The Rams have had for the first four games it seemed like the NFL wanted to play a cruel hoax on them or something....That said, they improved quite a bit last year and I am a little bit stunned to see them not putting up much of a fight. Still early though!

As for the Niners, they beat The Eagles today 24-23. AND they almost beat The Cowboys a few weeks ago. Lovin it right now!

Got to love those Packers and Badgers.
Also, don't want to forget the Brewers. Good year for Wisconsin teams.

Yep, this is a good year so far! Just imagine if the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers all take home their respective championships!

Holy cow.

Though, the Packers better tighten up their defense...

One of my favorite places on earth in the winter is the Randolph Mountain Club cabins on the side of Mt. Adams, second highest mountain in the northeast. Its a 3000 foot climb from the base to the cabins. One year I was up there at unheated Crag Camp during the Superbowl--the Pats were not there(in the Superbowl) so neither was I. As I sat there alone with the howling wind, suddenly the door burst open with a loud roar. I couldn't believe it. A group of crazies had lugged up a small TV, heavy batteries, a full-sized antenna collapsed, and two cases of beer, all with snowshoes and crampons the entire way. The next day as a blizzard blew in, we all watched the game. And those guys were blessed--they shared their beer with the stranger. Those guys loved their hiking and loved them some football!

O.K. 49ers beat the Eagles??!!?? Fine, but former Cal Bear Aaron Rogers is unconscious.
Bring pepper spray if you play Green Bay!

I have always watched football but I never really had a team, so I figured I would arbitrarily pick one (it's much harder than you think). You can't really go for the pats or the packers since it's just too easy and you're a bandwagon fan, so I figured since I love the San Francisco Giants (not to be confused with the dreadful NY Giants) I might as well give the 49ers a chance. I've also found that having a fantasy football team enhances my football knowledge greatly. I've been playing fantasy baseball for a while now and I can name off completely useless stats about random people, but who cares, I love it.

By the way.... do any of you guys do fantasy baseball/football/hockey? We should definitely get a league going either this year if it's not too late or next seasons for the respective sports. Who knows.

Finally, Aaron Rodgers was a god this past sunday, and i was extremely thankful to have him on my fantasy team.

Is this the return of one of the premier football franchises?
