synthetic bags or quilts on 09/19/2011 22:15:34 MDT Print View

Outside of the MLD spirit quilt, are there other synthetic-fill bags or quilts that can go down to the 20s and still weight around 1.5 lbs?

+1 On MLD. The quilts are well done and simple. Golite make synthetic quilts too, but their quilts normally end up heavier because of fabric choice.

Another option would be to make one yourself. Apex, which MLD and Enlightened use, is a pretty friendly insulation. It is stable enough that you only have to sew it to the fabric around the edges and it will be fine.
