I use one by Bodyglove, good all around support and doesn't shift much like a couple of the smaller strap type ones I've tried.

Weight is 2.5 oz for a large.

McDavid makes a couple that look like they may be lighter but I don't own either for comparison.

I had some micro fissures on my patellar tendon caused from patellar tracking problems. Used it during rehab and have since used it many times on slippery downhill slopes and it works great. My size medium weighs 3.6 oz.
