Great photos Cameron, I clicked through to Fickr and really enjoyed it.

Looks like you traded up on hiking partners! ; 0) Although I like Jeremy's new trail 'do. Built for speed.

How did you like the Absoraka? I wasn't happy with my Pinnacle at all and I'm looking to switch.

How did you handle bugs in the DuoMid?

How did you resupply at Taboose?

That is the most beautiful photo of Whitney I have seen. You camped on the peak?

Thanks everyone !

The pack worked great, carried 32 pounds like a gregory.
Bugs were not that bad at night.
I camped on the summit and watched the sunrise.

Killer photos Cameron. Its hard(impossible?) to capture the light in any way that approaches how amazing it actually is in person.

These images do a pretty sweet job of getting close.

Thanks for sharing!

Very nice!

Your pics from the DP1 are coming out far more saturated than mine. Are you boosting the saturation in post processing?

I was gifted great light most mornings and nights, and a schedule that had me near scenery when the best light was happening. I generally try to shoot raw, slightly underexposed, tripod whenever I can, and lowest iso possible. Not much post processing at all, mostly white balance correction, and desaturation to make B&W images from the raw. The shot of lake wanda had the saturation boosted, but the rest are pretty much as they come.

Just went back thru your set after that post...

seriously love the reflection shots you got, but again, really awesome setall-around, B&W works... only sometimes, and your use through out really complimented the other shots and compositions... THANKS! you helped me relive the awe of the sierra's from my desk, not an easy task :D

the guitar lake shot is frickin' epic!!! camped right where you shot that... tis' a beautiful church...
