I'm thinking about a trip to Colorado next summer and am looking for suggestions for a backpacking loop in the Collegiate Peaks area of about 40-45 miles, 6 nights, seven days. Any thoughts appreciated.

It's possible to make a loop of on and off-trail travel of that distance and to include up to several high 13er or 14er summits.

Pine Creek, the CDT/CT and a few other trails and mountains can combine into one big loop that crosses the divide a couple times.
