But what you see in the ad isnt everything there going to be selling, ill be lucky to find one thing ill buy, because rei's prices are high anyways so discounting doesnt always mean cheap.

Im looking for some lightweight baselayers, and maybe a light light hoody, anybody know of any sales?

on various occasions, where the colors are gender neutral, I find better discounts for items categorized as "Women's" such as black gloves, sleeping bag, boots, beanies, rollerblades, etc. they are not hello-kitty pink butterflies. you have to convert the sizes to get a good fits, usually a Women's large is a Men's medium size.

There are always a lot more clearance and discounts for women's outdoors gear.

Pay attention to body form fitting clothes and sl.bags for hips and shoulders.
