I was wondering if anyone has ever used the osprey warranty system. I picked up a used pack with broken zipper at rei today. Do you think they would repair this if I sent it in?

I sent in a backpack where I had ripped the side water bottle pocket by dragging it over granite.
They fixed it- no problem. Took about 3 weeks all told. They did not ask for a receipt or anything.

I work P/T in a retail store and we sell a tonne of Osprey bags. In my 2.5 years there, I have personally seen 2 Osprey bags come back for warranty, and they have been fixed promptly (within 3-6 weeks) with no questions asked. Osprey definitely stands by their "All Mighty Guarantee". If your bag has ANY issues with it, send it in, they'll fix it.

I had some problem with my exos 58 frame (exos bought to Moontrail i couldnt wait for it to be available in Europe...) after contacting Osprey France they told me to sent the backpack.
I recieved a new one.

So far thumb up :)

thats the reason why i buy osprey ... or buy from rei/mec
