Another great BPL bunch weekend out. This time in the Trinity Alps.
Went in at the Canyon Creek Trailhead Fri.
Camped by the creek about 5 miles in.
Hiked up to and swam around in Boulder Creek lake
Chilled some more in camp on Sat.
Hiked out early in the shade on Sun.

Your photos always turn out great. I'll pick through mine and see if I can find any decent ones.

Thanks.
( The laptop keyboard is broken, that's why I only posted pictures. Now I am using an iPod to add a few words...)
This was such a nice trip; no great mileage but we saw some beautiful country and gave ourselves enough time to enjoy it. We shared some good food and fun company: thanks Ken, John and Matt.
The water at Boulder Creek Lakes was warm enough to actually swim and stay in for a while, versus the usual jump in and race to get back out.
Backpacking is when I get to catch up on some sleep and I was so perfectly comfortable in my hammock ,listening to the creek and the guys muffled campfire conversation, that I slept from 7pm to 7am uninterrupted :0 on Friday night , with no aid ; ).
Can't wait to get out again and take in some more of this.

Thanks Ken for getting us up there in your neck of the woods.
