I think that is the REI Outlet, not general REI.

REI Outlet has all of the stuff that they can't sell successfully in the stores.

Me too Bob! I feel like I'm developing an REI-related shopping dysfunction.

Now, if only I could stop wanting everything at katabatic, zpacks, mld, hyperlite, etc.

I will say within a years time of starting a search to outfite myself and the wife I have gone from simply looking for things that I think would be practicle and useful from the Box outfitters such as REI, Gander, Cabeles. And I have now outfitted ourselves several times over thru this forum. Very few things that I have come from major manufacturers and I love that fact.
