My son (14) and I are planning our first backpacking trip. We are planning to hike the OLP in PA. I've read some previous reports about some of the streams going dry later in the summer and I want to be prepared. Does anyone know how the water levels have been recently or how they are typically in late summer? Any other advice would be helpful as this will be a first for both of us.

Looks like precipitation is trending below normal and the gaged streams are running normal to below normal, but no declared drought yet.
