Anybody know where this is? (maybe CA?) on 07/27/2011 15:22:34 MDT Print View

This is a long shot, but does anybody here recognize this picture? I found it randomly on the net. I could swear it looks just like some place in northern California, way up north. It looks like gold country, maybe siskiyou or kalamath area. I could be totally wrong though. This lake just looks amazingly beautiful. Anybody know anything about this pic?crystal clear lake
I own no rights to this picture and I don't know who took it.

Lake Crescent? on 07/27/2011 15:47:06 MDT Print View

I have very little on which to base this (as I haven't been there in years) but it reminds me of Lake Crescent in Washington.

Possibly. Thanks for the response. On BushcraftUSA a guy mentioned Greendrop Lake in Chilliwack Lake Provicila Park. British Columbia.

This looks a lot like Panda Lake in China.

Yuki is correct. Panda Lake in China on 07/27/2011 16:59:34 MDT Print View

quick search confirms.

including:
panda lake

which is the same shot, diff season. do a google images search.

great colored water. a more turquoise/Caribbean blue than the other lakes mentioned too. white sand in foreground may help to bring that motif/coloration out.
