Thanks to this community I have not only lowered the weight through simplifiying the gear. I love this way of reducing gear/weight/bulk. examples: - alc stove: homemade, cheap, simple. - shelter: cheaper than a tent, smaller, easier to handle, closer to nature, etc.
Where do you see additional possibilities of easily shedding weight by adding simplicity? Rain gear? Replace expensive rain gear with cheapo driducks? any further ideas of the same kind?
