Would like to make it to Grizzly Lake. 13+ miles each way.

Open to other ideas as well.

Ken,

I'm in if I can figure out transport from SF. Some friendly neighbor ko'd my car a few nights ago while I was parked on the street, so I'm without wheels for a few weeks.

If any other bay area people chime in i'd gladly split gas and or buy beer!

You should climb Thompson Peak while you are there.

Ken: It's 19 miles from Hobo Gulch Trailhead to Grizzly Lake. Just thought you should know. If you drive the much longer route around the northern boundery of the wilderness, you can reach Grizzly Lake in just over 6 uphill miles from China Gulch trailhead.
