Thanks for having the guts put this up for all to see. Many of us like to trumpet our successes and hide our failures. I'm glad that everyone got out of this alive. BTW, the video is kind of funny in a sick sort of way. ;-)

This photo was taken by someone (not me) who went out for a day hike last week at Hetch Hetchy and turned around at this point:bridge


(I think that's the trail, not the creek)

I don't know how much water was on the bridge in the Yosemite article, but some PCT hikers were turned back near Glen Aulin when the water on the bridge was thigh high.
