As everyone else on this thread I found this to be hilarious! This sounds exactly like my husband. Each year he sends a list of available gear for sale (usually bought for the previous summer treks)to our family and friends. Guess why? Yep, there is newer, better and ounces lighter than what we already have! For him it's always a MUST have. LOL

This was very close to the truth for me. I have been reluctant to go on trips because I didn't have any new myog gear to test on the trip.
