Why are you selling it? Didn't like it, doesn't fit your needs, duplicates anoher shelter, tarping now...?

I happen to have 2 Photons. This one has seen more wear.

I think it is a great tent.
Easy and fast to set up.
Packs small and easy, even when wet or frosty.
It's solid in nasty weather.
With the low, tight fly and high-walled inner it's warmer than most.
It is tall on the ends so the foot of the bag stays dry, and my face isn't in the netting.
I can cook in it (carefully) in foul weather.
It has plenty of vestibule for gear.

I've tried Many shelters.
The Photon keeps coming back to the top.

How much does it weigh? I'm sure the 2011 weights differs from the 2009 model.

On my scale it is 30.5 ounces.

That includes the poles, pole cover, and stuff sacks (but not stakes).

How many stakes does it take for a minimum set up and for a secure, high wind set up?

The "offical" stake count is 12 - 2 off each end, 2 "pull-outs" at each end, 2 at the ends of the pole, and 2 on the pole sleeve.

I get by with 10 by doubling up the lines at the ends.

For "high winds" there have been a number of mods posted by folks adding lines to the "pole cover". I've never felt need for them. Site selection, even in a treeless alpine area, will trump additional lines, IMHO.
