I own the men's bag, and it compacts down to the size of a football or less.

I own both versions as well (got them 2 years ago for just a couple bucks less in fact) and have been happy with them. Would likely be snug if you're a bigger build. I'm 5'9" 160 and have worn my down jacket in it but it may be somewhat compressed depending on position. Since I turn a lot I wish it had just a bit more room. The M & W versions are opposite zip so can be zipped together (at least the W long). I have a W Reg also but have not seen how it would zip together with the longer bag.

I see that you said a "one day sale" but it looks like the men's bag is still on clearance for $169.93 What did you have to do to get the extra 20% off? or did it show up automatically? Will a coupon code work on a clearance item?

Jeff - the one day deal was the extra 20% off clearance prices, it showed up automatically. Now it's back to $169 as you said.
