Does anyone take a sponge to clean themselves with when out in the back country? I can't feel clean with one. But its bulky, and I wonder if there is an inventive absorbant one, rather like the towels you can buy?

That sponge would be somewhat limited in it's use. I use a cotton bandana.

And a bandana has more uses than a sponge.

i use a 1 inch by 1 inch square dishwashing sponge to clean my pot.

or something similar... they work pretty nice...
