Coupon/Sale on the Houdini? on 06/08/2011 09:20:06 MDT Print View

Trying to avoid full retail on this, does anyone know of any online coupons or sales with any companies that sell the Houdini?

I got mine from shoebuy.com on 06/08/2011 10:49:16 MDT Print View

Right now they are reduced to 99.45$ if you don't mind orange or puke green(size L or XL). If you sign up for a newsletter you get 10% off, and they run sales periodically for another 25% or so. looked at retailmenot.com and saw code SPRING15 for another 15% off if you can't wait for a bigger sale, but I can't say for sure it'd work. I think I got mine for 68$ in the end, plus tried out NB MT101s. free two-way shipping eases sizing worry...

Check Ebay frequently .... you can pick one up there for well under $100 NWT if you're diligent and not in too big of a hurry.

As an example: There's one listed now in size LARGE with no bids and a BIN option for $88 total.

Got mine from shoebuy also. The puke green is actually a really appealing, "designerly" yellow/green. As a professional designer, I approve.

Just placed an order from Shoebuy based on Josh's/Kyle's advice - I applied the first-time buyer discount (10%) and used code SUMMER for 20% off plus free ship. Total came to $68.72. Only the light gecko green color is currently in stock (and only available in sizes L/XL), but if the size is right and you don't mind the color, great price.

Looking forward to using the houdini in place of my eVent shell on fair weather trips and as insurance while trail running. Because as much as I love my Westcomb Cruiser LT, it doesn't compress all that well and is usually more protection than I need.
