Just got back from an awesome trip rim to river. To be honest, I wasn't amped to go to the desert to hike 30+ miles, but it was the Grand Canyon, for God-sake. Strapped on several liters of water and off I go with a couple of buddies.

So happy I did. Probably some of the best colors I have seen in the backcountry and some crazy weather. A true adventure! I uploaded a few pics below, but have a whole lot more at the link below.

Highly recommend this trip if you are an experienced backpacker! Bring water, though.

It snowed on you guys up top? How did you find the last day and the hike out on Grandview (did you camp at Hance Creek)?
