The back cover on my Garmin 60CSx broke - the latch that keeps it closed.

I called Garmin customer service and they said they'de send me a new cover ... for $30.

Mostly I'm posting this just to complain about Garmin customer service. I think they should just send me a new cover.

I think their GPSs are great.

I bent a small piece of Aluminum and drilled a hole

Drilled a hole in back cover

cut a #18 brad to size

Put the brad through Aluminum, and through the hole in the cover

Put epoxy inside to keep it in place
