Need a shuttle after we emerge from the Escalante route.. South Rim.. anyone there on that date?

No, but I've had great luck hitchhiking from Grandview and from Lipan.

I've always found some kind soul to give me a ride when I have hiked out of New Hance.

It took me less than 5 minutes to find a ride from Grandview back to Lipan when I did the Escalante route. There are literally thousands of cars visiting the South Rim every day.
