WM bags and jacket and MLD Bivy on 05/03/2011 18:18:38 MDT Print View

Alright, let's try this again. I had a couple bags up for sale, but removed them as I was still deciding on a quilt. Now that I'm comfortable with it, they are back up.
Like new WM summerlite 6ft right zip. Includes cotton storage sack and stuff sack. Used for maybe 10 nights 260 shipped SOLD

WM ultralite 6ft right zip. Small tear a little less than 1 inch long near the foot box. Patched with a little duct tape and it's been holding fine, so I haven't done anything further to it. Still have the tags. Used about 10 nights. 300$ shipped OBO

MLD Superlight bivy right zip, normal length and floor. 130 shipped. Used for probably 25 nights.

WM Flight jacket. Grey size medium. 180$ shipped or will trade for a Flash jacket (or similar 10oz with 3oz fill jacket with hood) in size medium/small. Still have the tags for mine.

You can email me at jainsworth123@gmail.com as I'm not too fond of the pm system here.

By any chance do you happen to have an exactly weight *your* the Western Mountaineering Summerlite?

Their weights bounce around so much that it is a crapshoot on whether you actually get one at 19 ounces or one at 21 ounces.

Thanks.

IIRC it was 20oz, but I can reweigh it when I get home tonight.

I didn't get any email. You might want to try again.

edit: scratch that, it was in my junk folder for some reason.

questions about bivy on 05/06/2011 13:33:04 MDT Print View

Hi, is it the full net or half moon netting hood? Also, curious to know why the katabatic over this one. (I'm in the market for a bivy myself) Thanks

Half moon netting hood. And the main reason is because I have the katabatic quilt, plus it's about 3/10 of an oz lighter :), which is a nice bonus. I like the gear the make, and though I had no problems with the MLD, I want to try the strap system for the quilts.
