Colorado Trail: Alt Route suggestions on 05/01/2011 19:43:57 MDT Print View

This is my first post on backpacking light, but I'm am already a huge fan of the site and the community.
I have begun planning for the Colorado Trail but I've heard there are a lot of great alt. routes for the trail. So I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that you may have that would make for a more scenic and enjoyable hike.

I know the that hiking the CDT more is one of the more popular route changes, so I am looking into that option and would look into any other suggestions that are made.
