Kevin, it's in good condition- no holes in the spinnaker and is seam sealed- and it is the 2009 model I believe. It comes with the stuff sack as well.

I also asked about the condition of the tent and the model year (which you've just answered, thank you), whether you happen to have stakes or poles for it, and what made you change your mind about the tent. I've only read really good reviews on the tent so far, which is why I'm considering it, so I wonder what made you change your mind, and if that'll make me change my mind, too.

Hi Stephanie,

FWIW I have one of these and love it - light, very airy & well ventilated, spacious for one, protected entry, easy to set up. I've only used it in mild climates, I guess it would be OK in nastier conditions if it was pitched rear or end to the weather.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried both the 2008 and 2009 models (have there been any other revisions since 2009???) and can attest to whether they're actually that different. I've read a lot of good things about what I assume is the 2009 model, so I'm wondering why this same 2008 tent is being sold twice in two weeks haha.

If there's not much difference to speak of between the models, then I'll go for this, but if the re-design is actually that much better I'd rather wait for them to resolve their fabric issue and put my 200 bucks toward that one... I have a lot of time before I'll really need it.

tldr; does anyone have specs for the 2008 model and how different is it from the current model?

Geez, buy the darn thing, it's a great tent for a great price.
