Cheap, light camera good for kids on 04/26/2011 15:02:12 MDT Print View

Any models that stand out which can handle the abuse of kids and I could get cheap on Ebay? Cheap and waterproof likely don't go together but that would be a plus also. Doesn't have to take great pics, but a minimum of 1024x768 resolution.

Hi Michael,

Any of the older model waterproof cams from the likes of Canon, Olympus, Panasonic, Casio, et al should do fine with kids, and I'd guess are farily cheap used. Other than ensuring they're in good working order, check that the owner's manual is included or available on line, and that the battery can be affordably replaced in case it wears out.
