Thru-hiker down storage
I picked up a 3oz bag on Gear Swap and was wondering if I can leave it in the bag it came in for storage? Do I need to unpack it and store it loose? Thanks

"I picked up a 3oz bag..."What is the temperature rating?
Kent,I think Todd meant a bag of down, not a down bag... :)Todd,I keep my T-H down in the bags as it isn't over-compressed, and as long as it's not being subjected to high humidity, sunlight, etc., you shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks all for the responses.Yes, Ben, it was a bag of down! :) Your answer is what I thought, since as you say it's not very compressed. Nice to hear from an expert!
