They are not due until Monday, April 18! I have no idea why! I double-checked the IRS and Oregon Dept. of Revenue sites just to be sure.

The traditional tax return filing deadline is April 15 of each year, but the IRS has approved April 18, 2011 as the tax filing deadline for 2010 Tax Returns and extension requests in observation of Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia.

Gotta love e-file (except for the stupid fee, of course). I filed my taxes electronically, both federal and state, on April 10, had my state refund in my bank account April 14. Wish the feds were that fast.

E-filed on Feb 15 and received state and federal in my bank account on Feb 23.

Sadly, 47% of Americans would answer your question in the negative since they pay no federal income tax.

Yes, filed mine via Turbo Tax.

Love doing my taxes each year.

I would like to see higher tax rates for those who can afford it and I would like to see budget cuts. I would feel more secure if our federal finances were in the black.

What's sad is they have little income.

But they do pay social security tax.

Unless, of course, you're GE, Exxon, Boeing, Chevron, or Bank of America in which case you paid no taxes and actually got a refund.
