has anybody tried or considered multiday trips using a fanny pack? i just bought the newly released mountainsmith daylight "pack"

700 cubes and 10 oz...less if you remove extraneous features. my kit requires ~700 cui for 4 sierra summer nights.

seems like it would be nice w no shoulder straps and weight proximal to center of mass. i also have used the black diamond ion and the inov8 race elite 20.

I did multiday fanny pack trips a couple of times after I broke my shoulder in India.
