How bout having a little box to the side on the home page for folks new to the site that has the top 10 threads of general info?

Ahhh, brain poots... I cant think of any more but you get the idea.

I guess some of these would require that the membership req be stricken from these threads, but it might be beneficial to everybody. It'll kill the "why do you all hate goretex footwear?" threads (no offense to the dude who just posted that)



Also- maybe can we add pics and more personal info to our profiles? Sort of a social network (yeah I said it) for us- We already have the network with the threads, I'd just like to post more bio kinda stuff because I know you are all dying to know more about me;) We could put our gearlists on that too...

It probably takes more bandwidth or whatever than is available
