Jacks R Better Sierra Sniveller
Lightly used, regular length 800 FP with 3 oz of overfill.
I added the overfill myself. I wanted a bit extra in the legs/feet, so I put the same amount of down in all the baffles, so as the quilt tapers, the baffles get a bit more overstuffed.
Also, I removed the omni-tape, and just sewed that part up. The footbox still has the drawchord for venting, but YOU CAN NOT LAY THE QUILT OUT COMPLETELY FLAT. I just never needed to, and the stiff strip of omni-tape sort of annoyed me.

Always been stored uncompressed and kept nice and clean.

I don't have the original JRB compression sack, but some sort of stuff sack will be included.

To address your question I think there are several points that
I considered when I made you an offer. First is the fact that extensive mods to any retail product invalidates any chance for warranty repairs. Second is the unique use of the sniveller line, the fact that you can use it as a coat, which your mods have impaired. Then the addition of more weight to the product by adding down, essentially making it appropriate for a different temp range, putting it outside the sweet spot most 3 season ultralighters are trying to hit. Finally the price is too close to the retail price considering the above, only $35 away from a new one with none of the above liabilities. I hope this answers your questions. I normally would not do this, I always try to respect a seller’s position, but you did ask. Hope this helps.

The quilt can still be worn as a poncho/jacket.

If you look at that photo, you can see that one side (back) clearly wraps around and covers most of the other anyway. So you've got the 52" to cover most of you, then the 20"ish (footbox) to fill in the gap.

As far as the price, the standard 800 FP version costs $270.
The Jacks offer an overfill option, 2 oz for $40.
So that puts you at $310.
A difference of $75.
And that would get you pretty close to what I've got (mine has 3 oz overfill).

I guess the warrany repair thing I saw as a non-issue. There's not really much to fail.

I'm not trying to attack you or anything, I just want people to realize that comparing my quilt to a stock Sierra Sniveller isn't really fair.

Point of view is everything. Yours is that you have increased the value of the product. You need to find someone that thinks like you. Just keep trying.
