I realize on this site this tent might not be considered 'ultralight,' but in some circles it is, and I would rather post this here for bit before putting it up on ebay. This tent was purchased brand new a few months ago. I had intentions of using it this winter more than I did. I spent one night in this tent. It is in pristine condition, even has that beloved 'new tent smell.' Nothing is wrong with this tent, I just have my eyes set on picking up some new spring/summer gear. No pictures of it, but it is the green version. Tent, all stakes, poles, stuff sack and set-up instructions included. These retail for $625 new, I am asking for $525, and we can work out the shipping costs.

Is this tent still available? I realise it's been over a year since the last post but here's hoping...

I have a Kaitum 3, as new, plus groundsheet if you're interested. Using Tarptents now.

Sorry, the kaitum is bigger and heavier than what we want. Got our hearts set on a Nallo 3 so am just trying to track down one that I don't have to sell a kidney to procure.

Does the vestibule have the ability to cover the center top shut, if it is raining -- the picture at http://www.hilleberg.com/home/products/nallo/nallo3.php -- does not make this clear. Bottom line, I'm looking for a winter tent for the sierras that can hold 2 people with their gear, if it is snowing the vestibule won't be of any use to hold gear if it is not coverable. It is 17 oz lighter than the GT version, and I'm hoping for 2 people, there is no need for the GT version.

Thanks.

A little late, but yes on 08/06/2014 22:19:17 MDT Print View

In case people are curious in the future, yes the vestibule can be fully zipped up underneath the hood.
