My wife and I would like to go on a trip this summer. We'd like hike a few days and also spend a night or two in a soft bed. It'd be helpful too if it was near a Southwest Airlines city. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Can you narrow it down?

dayhike, backpack for 1-2 nights? more? what time during the summer?

what do you like to see? your post leaves a lot of choices out there!

I wondered which thread was best. What do recommend?

We'd like to backpack a couple of nights and B&B a couple of nights. We're in TN so in July (when we want to go) we'd like to go some place north/cooler.

Most of the stuff in here is just fighting on politics and global warming.
