Did my first trip of the year last night and was hoping for some good shots, it ended up being very overcast. The moon went behind the clouds shortly after this. The sunrise this morning was really nice though.
Taken with a Panasonic Lumix ZS7 on manual mode from Ohio with a hazy sky.
"When the moon hits you eyeLike a bigga pizza pieThat's a perigee!"I looked at it with my 60 power Leupold spotting scope. The craters and impact blast marks were SO visible this time. The upper left horizon was jagged with crater rims. Amazing and we were treated to a totally clear sky after a big storm blew through.
Hahndorf South Australia moonrise.
Sweet photos guys!
