Insul-mat Max Thermo on steepandcheap.com for about $23. Can't beat that.
Sweet. Going to try cutting one of these down then. $23 for a failure is much better than $50.
It looks like an inflatable pad with one valve. How would you cut it down without killing it?

Nice project looks great I have a Insul-mat Max Thermo and it’s an amazingly comfortable pad. I cant wait to hear how the Insul-mat performs post surgery.Regards
